MALDIVES

(Maldives - Central Atolls Route)

January 3-10, 2026

WITH OPTION TO ADD-ON DUBAI
January 10-14, 2026

Total package price starting at $3047/pp

This package includes Deluxe cabin liveaboard accommodation, diving, all meals, some beverages... and more!

THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR DIVERS with 50+ dives to relax and experience some of the most
pristine waters in the world.

As we sail along the best-known route in the Maldives, with the best and most varied dives, we’ll encounter LOADS of pelagic fish. It’s not uncommon to see grey sharks, white-tips sharks, black-tip sharks, eagle rays, and schools of colorful fishes, morays, tuna fish, groupers, turtles, and in some cases, hammerheads, and dolphins.
We’ll be exploring shipwrecks that are bustling with life and two spectacular night dives, one with mantas and the other with dozens of nurse sharks!

The dives that are made in the channels that form between the islands can pass between strong currents. Some of the dives are made at depths for which it is advisable to have the Advanced certification or otherwise be an experienced Open Water diver.

One of the top ten

liveaboards in the world!

Blue Force One

  • two JACUZZIS onboard

  • 3 solariums with sunbeds and mattresses

  • Living room with sofas, armchairs, 85’ TV with in-house channels, satellite navigation, and film system.

  • 12 excellent cabins for 24 passengers

    • We have 5 Deluxe cabins (#103-107) on this ship

    • We also have 2 Master Suites (#108 and 109) on this ship

January 2:
(Optional)
Arrival in Male

We recommend arriving in Male a day before the Live Aboard trip starts.*

Even though the ship doesn’t set sail until the 3rd, it takes several flights to reach the Maldives- and with multiple flights could come delays.

We don’t want anyone to miss the boat (so to speak), so we suggest arriving a day early in Male just to be safe.

*pre-stay accommodations are not included in the package

January 3:
Embarkation

We will board the auxiliary boat Dhoni for the transfer to MALDIVES BLUE FORCE ONE for check in, briefing of the liveaboard, diving and plan itinerary. Dinner on board.

January 3-10:
The Central

Atolls Route

DIVING SAFARI CENTRAL ATOLLS ROUTE

The route will go through North Male, South Male, Vaavu & Ari atolls. Dive program with 18 dives. If time, weather, and cruise logistics allow it, we will visit desert islands and even, if possible, we will have a BBQ lunch or dinner on an island.

This is the best well-known route in Maldives but at the same time the one that offers the best and most varied dives. This route is sailed by the crew almost all year long (except June for boat maintenance) week after week. Thanks to that, they know every detail, atoll, passage, thilas and where and when it is convenient to approach every dive zone.

The aim is to find pelagic life, grey sharks, white-tips sharks, black-tip sharks, eagle rays, and schools of colorful fishes, morays, tuna fish, groupers, turtles, and in some cases, hammerheads, and dolphins.

Drifting dives in the channel, thilas (submerged coral “seamounts”), cleaning stations where big mantas gather to deworm themselves, we will search for whale sharks (and if we are lucky, will snorkel and even dive with the biggest fish) and we will dive into a full-of-life wreck. Additionally, there will be two spectacular night dives, one with mantas and the other with dozens of nurse sharks.

Deserted islands will also be visited to discover and enjoy a bit more of the country and if the weather allows, we will even BBQ on a deserted beach!

All that said, if you are longing to relax, you can enjoy the solarium and jacuzzi on board, kayak, Paddle SUP... or optionally have fun with an underwater scooter or discover a new way of diving with a HORIZON rebreather.

January 10:
Departure

Today is time to say goodbye (for now).

Safe travels home, and we can’t wait to see you on our next trip!

F.A.Q.

WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF DIVING?

The dives that are made in the channels that form between the islands can pass between strong currents. Some of the dives are made at depths for which it is advisable to have the Advanced certification or otherwise be an experienced Open Water diver.

All divers must hold a diving certification internationally recognized. For safety matters and higher pleasure in the dives, we recommend that you hold Advanced Open Water or similar and 50 certified dives.

We recommend diving with NITROX if you hold this certification.

It is mandatory to dive with a dive computer, a marker buoy, a current hook and a torch for night dives.

All guests participating in recreational guided or unguided scuba activities must present their dive certification card and/or dive logbook for verification. Blue Force Fleet reserves the right to reject any participation in scuba diving activities if dive certification proof is not presented upon request.

No refund will be issued if any dive activity can’t be accomplished due to not having the requested certificate or if guides consider the customer as not qualified. Blue Force Fleet reserves the right to reject any dive participation or suggest a refreshment course if any scuba participant is unable to perform diving skills.

If the client hasn’t got the asked certification or if the guide considers that the client is not qualified to make any dive, he/she could reject the participation in the dive. Blue Force Fleet reserves the right to make any refund for the lost dive.

Due to inclement weather, logistics, mechanical, and safety reasons, Blue Force Fleet reserves the right to make any total or partial modification and cancellation for the planned program. Also reserves the right to cancel the whole itinerary or any part of the itinerary for any reason, including an insufficient number of participants, No refund will be given due to this reason.

Can I go diving just a few times? Or do I have to dive every day?

The first rule of diving (well, one of the first rules) is to call a dive if you aren’t comfortable. This means that if you have signed up to go diving one day and you don’t feel comfortable, please don’t get in the water.
That said, this is a personal choice and not one that will result in a refund of money.

is the use of reef-safe sunscreen required?

It is not required, but it is strongly recommended to use of reef-friendly sunscreens to help keep the ocean’s corals healthy. Research estimates that 4-6,000 metric tons of sunscreen wash off swimmers into the ocean annually, and most of these sunscreens contain ingredients that cause harmful algae blooms and coral bleaching. Please check your sunscreens and avoid those that contain benzophenon/oxybenzone. To do your part, use biodegradablenatural sunscreens to help protect the reefs.

Look for sunscreens that have active ingredients such as titanium dioxide or zinc oxide.

What are the water temps in the Maldives in January?

January is the coldest month in the Maldives with an average water temperature of 82.8°F / 28.2°C.

When within sight of land in the Maldives, your US phone will most likely work, but please check with your provider for fee schedules and roaming charged that might be incurred.

In case of an emergency: On the boat, in addition to a VHF radio, Blue Force One LOB has a satellite phone and e-mail. Passengers can use these for ship to shore communication.
