Combine a snorkeling adventure with time at a beach club on this multi-activity tour. Travel by comfortable catamaran along the coast of Cozumel, with stops at two reefs, Palancar and Columbia, and Playa El Cielo, where you can snorkel with colorful starfish. Enjoy music, drinks, seasonal fruit and freshly made ceviche onboard. Afterwards, relax on the beach or play in the inflatable water park at the Tortugas Beach Club.

Traditional Yucatan Fish Cookout

You’re invited to a traditional beach cookout, in which you prepare your own Tikinxic fish, grilled to perfection and seasoned in the old Cozumel way, accompanied by unlimited cold drinks, before indulging in some rest, relaxation and fun in the sun at the incredible Barracuda Beach Club.

The Barracuda Beach Club on the island’s northwestern shore will be the venue for the barefoot cookout and day at the beach. Upon arrival, you will be served a welcome drink of Xtabentún, a honey and anise-flavored liqueur synonymous with the Yucatan peninsula. You will then learn how to prepare Tikin Xic-style fish. The fish – usually a firm white fish such as grouper or snapper – is traditionally marinated in achiote sauce, wrapped in plantain leaves and cooked in an earthen oven. It makes for a tasty lunch as you will discover firsthand.

Journey to the Barracuda Beach Club, where you can take part in a traditional beach cookout.

• Meet your chef, who teaches you the art preparing your own Tikinxic fish, using the traditional way of grilling the fish filet in plantain leaves and with a very unique seasoning blend traditional to Yucatan.

• Indulge in the fruits of your labor, savoring every last bite of this tasty meal that includes fish filet, tortillas, Mexican salsa, and tortilla chips, before washing it down with a cold, refreshing margarita from the open bar.

In this shore excursion, you will relax in Roatan, enjoying a sightseeing tour visiting local markets, multiple stops for amazing panoramic & scenic views of Coxen Hole (Capital of Roatan). The tour continues with a drive to the west side, enjoying the famous wildlife encounter with sloth, monkeys and learn more about more animals.

After the wildlife experience, your guide will escort your group to the Chocolate Factory for a delicious experience to learn about the cacao and chocolate benefits, also you will taste the different flavors. You will visit the local Rum/Cake factory. It's time to refresh your bodies in the turquoise waters of West Bay beach, one of the best warm & turquoise crystalline waters beaches in the Caribbean.

Then head to a cave in the Belizean rainforest and go cave tubing along the Caves Branch River to explore another ancient ceremonial location of the Mayans.

Explore the Kohunlich Mayan Ruins site in the comfort of small dedicated groups.

Kohunlich, located approximately 1.5hrs from the Port of Costa Maya provides a fantastic tour of Quintana Roo’s lower lands, fringed with rolling hills and rainforest Kohunlich explorations will take you away from it all!

Kohunlich, built within the 4th century A.D. resembles some of the most beautiful Maya Temples found in Campeche, Guatemala, and Belize, the two closest neighbors.

The construction of the main Temples will give you a firsthand look at the importance this perfectly reconstructed Maya site must have had with its neighboring Cities for Trade and religious aspects of the Maya civilization.

Journey into the Mystical Realm of the Maya, walk through the ceremonial grounds and climb the stairs of the temple that have been traversed by Mayans over 1000 years ago!

Keep your eyes open for the other residents of the jungle surrounding Kohunlich. Spider Monkeys, Peccary, deer, and armadillos inhabit this area, so keep a lookout!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE refreshment AND deluxe BEVERAGE PACKAGES?

While both packages offer unlimited non-alcoholic beverages (like soda, juices, and hot beverages), the Deluxe package offers alcoholic beverages (like cocktails, beers, wines and liqueurs)

Can I purchase just the cruise option for now and possibly add the excursions later?

Yes!
What’s most important is making sure that we have a cabin secured for you. So if you’re on the fence about adding the excursions or the drink package, etc… that’s okay! Just sign up for the cruise for the time being.

Can I sign up for some of the excursions but not all of them?

No.
We have the excursions as a full package. We cannot separate it out and have some excursions for one port but not for another.
You can purchase the package and have access to all the excursions- if you want to enjoy all of them, you can.. and if you want to sit one port out and enjoy the beach or the ship, or do something else, you can do that too!

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

You should dress for a cruise the same way you would for any stylish land-based resort.

We recommend you bring a sweater, a jacket or an all-weather coat for cool evenings, and for shore excursions, depending on your destination. Due to unpredictable weather, don't forget a hat or visor and a collapsible umbrella. Please be sure to bring proper clothing for visits to religious sites. You'll also want low-heeled, rubber soled shoes for strolling on deck, as well as comfortable walking shoes or sandals to wear.

There are three designations for dress codes: Casual, Smart Casual and Formal.

Casual
You're on vacation – relax!

• Jeans, shorts, tees, tank tops, polos, sundresses and blouses are all the right amount of laid back.

Please keep swimwear to the Pool Deck.

Smart Casual
Guest attire should be in keeping with what they would wear to a nice restaurant at home.

• Skirts/dresses, slacks, and sweaters for ladies

• Pants and open-neck shirts for men

Inappropriate dinner wear such as pool or beach attire, shorts, ball caps and casual jeans (with fraying and/or holes) are not permitted in the dining rooms. Shoes must be worn.

Formal
When formal nights are held, please observe the dress code in the Traditional Dining and Anytime Dining venues for the enjoyment of all the guests.

Why is my insurance quote different than what is listed in the Registration Form?

The pricing we have listed on this webpage (and in the Registration Form) is just an example. Lots of factors go into the total cost of the insurance policy, including things like age, where you live, how far in advance is the trip, how much is the cost of the package, etc.

If you’d like, once we receive your registration form, we would be glad to send you a customized comparison from the insurance company. This way you can compare the policies and the pricing to help make an informed decision.

Can I pay by Zelle?

Yes!

We started taking Zelle payments last month and we found this to be a fast and FREE way to pay!
For those who don’t know what Zelle is… it is very much like a wire transfer (but it is not a wire transfer).

Everyone’s bank is different, though, so you may want to call/go in to your local bank and ask to have the maximum amount available to transfer every day.

Example: Some banks only allow $500/day transfer. Other banks will allow $1200/day.

Always be careful when making payments through Zelle to people that you do not know. There is no protection guarantee provided and you cannot reverse the fee.

The Pros for using Zelle:

• It is FREE (no processing fees)!

• It is instantaneous (funds will go directly to Zone Travel- so this is the absolute fastest way to make a payment)

The Cons for using Zelle:

• Every bank is different when it comes to maximum amount available to be transferred every day. So, this may mean that you need to make multiple payments to Zone Travel, multiple days in a row.

• It does require an app download onto your phone, and you need to set up your account with your bank information.
