You'll be staying at Breezes Bahamas, a charming, seaside adults only all-inclusive resort commanding a pristine stretch of Nassau’s best beach - the powder white sands of Cable Beach.
Enjoy a variety of dining at Breezes Bahamas from Italian to Asian-fusion and local favorites all with an island twist. The main dining room, Banana Boat, serves buffet-style breakfast, lunch & dinner while the a la carte restaurants offer a wide variety of cuisine with indoor and outdoor settings.

A la carte restaurants are on a rotation sequence and are closed some nights. At least one restaurant is open for dinner nightly, which may be the main dining room.

This Scuba add-on includes daily transportation to/from the dive site, 3 days of 2 tank boat dives – tanks, weights and weight belt.

SCUBA ADD-ON : 3 days of Morning 2-tank boat dives

Each morning, you will go out for a 2-tank boat dive on the coral reefs around Nassau with Stuart Cove Dive shop.
You will be picked up at the hotel at 7am and dropped back off after your last dive around 12:30pm.

Your transportation, weights and tanks are included!

NOTE: Please do not book your return flight home before 1pm on January 20th.

Certified SCUBA divers can explore the walls, reefs, and wrecks of New Providence island with the “world’s most popular dive resort” – Stuart Cove’s.

Your first dive is along one of our many beautiful walls beginning between 40’ and 60’ and dropping 6,000’ into the Tongue of the Ocean. Your Divemaster will lead the dive to 80 ft. for 30 minutes although we are flexible for those with computers of for buddies preferring to stay shallow.

Each site along the wall is different and unique in its own way. The wall is perfect for both new and advanced divers. Your second dive is either a shallow reef, movie site or one of 12 wrecks. There are many beautiful reefs each with different coral formations and fish life. You may explore a 100 ft. freighter, the famous James Bond wreck, or the Cessna used in the filming of JAWS.

You may explore a 100 foot freighter in 50 feet of water; or the famous James Bond wreck in 40 feet of water or you may dive on the Cessna used in the filming of JAWS.

We decide on the specific site we will be diving on the actual dive day. This keeps us flexible and gives us an idea of what the best weather conditions are and what everyone on the boat would prefer to do.

What time is the check in to the Resort?

• Check in at the resort will not be until 3pm at the earliest.

  • If you arrive early, or your room is not yet ready for you to check in when you arrive, you may be able to leave your bags with the front desk and they will keep them securely held behind the desk while you go out and eat or explore the resort until your room is ready.
    

CAN I UPGRADE MY ROOM?

Yes! This is based on availability, but if you prefer a different room type please let us know and we can arrange this for you.

Do I have to be certified to go SCUBA diving?

Yes, an Open Water Certification is required to go SCUBA diving.

If you haven’t gotten certified yet, you don’t know what you’re missing!
You can do your classroom work before your trip and then do your checkout dives on vacation!

In order to participate in the Stuart Cove’s Two-Tank Dives, you must meet these minimum qualifications:

Prerequisites

• At least 10 years of age
• Good physical health.
• Must be a Certified Diver or Jr. Diver
• Divers who have not logged a dive within the last 3 years will be required to complete a refresher program prior to joining any scheduled dives.
• Children under the age of 18 must participate with a parent or guardian.
• Children under the age of 4 are not permitted onboard vessel.

Can I go diving just a few times? Or do I have to dive every day?

The first rule of diving (well, one of the first rules) is to call a dive if you aren’t comfortable. This means that if you have signed up to go diving one day and you don’t feel comfortable, please don’t get in the water.
That said, this is a personal choice and not one that will result in a refund of money.

If you want to go diving, but don’t want to participate in the active dive schedule we have included, we can arrange a separate dive for you, as often as you’d like!
The great thing about this resort, is that they have a house reef! So you don’t have to go far to get some great diving in.

Should I bring a wetsuit?

The water temps this time of year are about 72-74 degrees.
This may sound warm, but your body gets cold a lot faster in water. We recommend bringing a wet suit if you have one.

You can rent one (or buy one) from Aquatic Adventures here at home.
Or you can rent a 3mm wetsuit from Stuart Cove in Nassau for about $13/day.

IMPORTANT to note: Stuart Cove only has 3mm wetsuits, so you may want to consider renting a Farmer John or a 7mm from Aquatic Adventures, or purchasing some warm dive gear like the new BARE gear that just came in!

(it’s better to have the warmth and not need it, than to be cold in the water)

Is Nitrox available?

Yes!
Nitrox is available for $11/tank (80cubic ft tank)

What if I miss my daily transfer to go diving?

Note: Bus schedules may vary by 5-10 minutes either way, based on the number of guests they must pick up and if your fellow passengers are punctual. Generally, a driver will spend a few minutes trying to locate a passenger. If that’s the case, then the remaining stops will be behind schedule.

Likewise, the dive trips may vary slightly due to weather and water conditions. If a captain picks a particular site and after anchoring determines that conditions are not appropriate, he will relocate to another site. As such, that boat will now return slightly later.

With numerous boats and buses, they are usually able to minimize any inconvenience for most of our guests. Your patience is always appreciated as their goal is to simply try and meet the needs of all our guests. To that extent, the times listed are the normal day “plans” so that you can plan accordingly as well.

If you miss your pickup transfer: 

You are responsible for getting yourself to the dive shop by 8am. After that time, you will miss your boat for the day. (there are no refunds for missed diving)

Stuart Cove has moved! If you are driving yourself to the dive facility for a scheduled activity, please note that they are no longer located at South Ocean. They are now located in Coral Harbour. If you Google Coral Harbour Beach Villas, Stuart Cove is located on the two lots West on the opposite side of the road from the Ocean.

Are there COVID restrictions to enter the Bahamas?

Effective Tuesday, September 20, 2022, all Covid-related travel restrictions to The Islands of The Bahamas have been lifted.

• Negative Covid tests are no longer required for Unvaccinated Travelers.

• Bahamas Travel Health Visas will no longer be required to enter The Bahamas.

• Vaccinated Travelers will no longer need Covid 19 tests to enter The Bahamas.

• All mask mandates for travelers are eliminated as of October 1, 2022.

  • (Masks will still be required when visiting any healthcare facility.)

What is the dress code at the resort?

Don't panic! It's your vacation so dress like it.

We recommend light clothing and plenty of shorts, flip-flops/sandals, swimsuits and cover-ups.
You'll enjoy the casually elegant atmosphere at Breezes Bahamas.

While the a la carte restaurants have no formal dress-code, tank tops are not permitted.
We find that gentlemen tend to wear slacks, jeans (or nice shorts) with a polo shirt, or a button down (short or long sleeve), which is appropriate, but not required. These recommendations would be the same for the nightclub and piano bar.

The main dining room, the Banana Boat buffet is more casual in nature.

If you plan to play tennis or make use of our fitness center, we do recommend you bring whatever workout / athletic attire you normally wear for either (including shoes).

Can I pay by Zelle?

Yes!

We started taking Zelle payments last month and we found this to be a fast and FREE way to pay!
For those who don’t know what Zelle is… it is very much like a wire transfer (but it is not a wire transfer).

Everyone’s bank is different, though, so you may want to call/go in to your local bank and ask to have the maximum amount available to transfer every day.

Example: Some banks only allow $500/day transfer. Other banks will allow $1200/day.

Always be careful when making payments through Zelle to people that you do not know. There is no protection guarantee provided and you cannot reverse the fee.

The Pros for using Zelle:

• It is FREE (no processing fees)!

• It is instantaneous (funds will go directly to Zone Travel- so this is the absolute fastest way to make a payment)

The Cons for using Zelle:

• Every bank is different when it comes to maximum amount available to be transferred every day. So, this may mean that you need to make multiple payments to Zone Travel, multiple days in a row.

• It does require an app download onto your phone, and you need to set up your account with your bank information.

Can I pay by check?

Yes!

If you would like to avoid the 4%processing fees, you may pay by check.
It is very important that you pay in advance of the deadlines and allow ample time for delivery.
