“My aim is to really give you what you want, to tailor it to your wishes, not just another run of the mill scheduled tour, Bespoke Black Cab Tours is what I do and what I love. Here's a little more information about myself. I'm a born and bred Londoner and have lived and worked within this great city for the majority of my life (the exception being a 4-year stint in Switzerland). Previously working within Royal Mail followed by the Global Foreign Exchange Markets.
I am a fully qualified London 'Cabbie', qualified taxi guide and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers (the 104th Livery company of the City of London), and offer private and personal tours of London and beyond in an ICONIC London black cab (not just any London Black Cab but the new Zero Emission Capable Electric Cab), neither of which I ever thought I would be doing, but I can wholeheartedly say two of the best decisions I have possibly made in my working life. Firstly becoming a 'London Cabbie' gave me the new challenge and freedom I needed and then from there getting involved in offering tours, I honestly fell in love with my hometown again whilst doing the knowledge, and showing the sights of this fantastic city and creating wonderful memories on my tours is hard to beat.
My aim is to give YOU the tour that YOU want when YOU want, always keeping in mind that it is YOUR vacation and YOUR memories, and to show you the history of London (and beyond), both the famous and lesser-known sites in a fun and relaxed manner.”

Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence of the UK’s sovereigns since 1837 and today is the administrative headquarters of the Monarch. Although in use for the many official events and receptions, the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace are open to visitors every summer.
Big Ben
Big Ben is the largest of the six bells in Westminster Palace. Many people think that it’s a name of the clock tower in London, but in fact, the name refers to the 13-ton bell, which is inside of the tower behind the clock dial.
The official name of Big Ben was the Clock Tower of the Palace of Westminster. In 2012, by the decision of the British Parliament, this attraction of England was renamed to Elizabeth Tower (in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s reign).
Westminster Abbey
In addition to serving as a site for royal coronations and burials, Westminster Abbey has famously been the location for 17 royal weddings—including the marriage of Prince William to Catherine Middleton.
Note: A ticket is required to go inside Westminster Abbey. This has not been included in the package.
The London Eye
The London Eye, or the Millennium Wheel, is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3 million visitors annually.
It is a must visit when you are in London.
Note: A ticket is required to ride the London Eye. This has not been included in the package.

Meet Your Guide: Guy F.
“Welcome to London! I'm a London Blue Badge Guide, a City of London Guide and an Oxford Green Badge Guide. With these qualifications I can take you on tours of Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, St Paul's Cathedral, the British Museum, the Victoria & Albert Museum - and many other wonderful sites besides.
Though I've lived in London for 30 years I was born and raised in Kent, known as the Garden of England. I studied Ancient History and Archaeology at Birmingham University and then I joined a well-known high street retailer. After many years I decided to take a change in direction. I chucked in my job and retrained as a tour guide - and I've never looked back. I've always had a love of history and like nothing more than sharing a tale or two with you. I'm also an amateur actor and director, having performed in over 30 shows, from Shakespeare to the local pantomime, so expect a few characters along the way. I do like to put on an accent now and again just to warn you… Aside from my guiding qualifications I'm also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Vintners, one of the City of London's historic livery companies. As a liveryman I'm also automatically entitled to be a Freeman of the City of London. One of its ancient rights is the ability to take sheep across London Bridge, a right I duly exercised in 2019! I'd be more than happy to explain more about these peculiar privileges - perhaps over a pint or a glass of wine (I know where the good pubs are).
When I'm not guiding I like to catch the latest play, support my local football team (QPR) or check the cricket score. You'll also find me browsing a local bookshop for another interesting history book or relaxing in the pub after catching the latest play or exhibition. As an avid traveller I like to get away too, and have visited over 60 countries and counting. Favourite destinations include Italy, New Zealand, Argentina, Canada and Lebanon. Many of them boast some fine wines - another passion.”

Originally built in the 1800s, The Gainsborough Bath Spa occupies two Grade II Listed buildings with distinguished Georgian and Victorian façades in the heart of the World Heritage Site. Named after the artist, Sir Thomas Gainsborough, the luxury hotel is centred around and, uniquely in the UK, has the exclusive privilege of having access to the natural thermal, mineral-rich waters.
The Gainsborough Bath Spa pays homage to its colorful history. The hotel is designed by New York based Champalimaud Design to be welcoming, elegant, vibrant and social - a modern interpretation of a classic design which will provide a meaningful and enduring contribution to the life of the city.
Set in the heart of Bath, is perfectly placed to explore the city and its surrounds. Beyond its walls, a wealth of history, stunning architecture and beautiful countryside await.
The Tale
Embracing the city's treasured spa history, The Gainsborough Bath Spa has put a modern spin on a long-forgotten tale. According to ancient legend, Bath was established in 863 B.C. by Prince Bladud, father of Shakespeare's King Lear. Afflicted by leprosy, the prince was banished from his kingdom and forced to live in exile. Looking to soothe his inflamed skin, he bathed in the area's surrounding muddy springs, miraculously curing himself of all afflictions. Returning to court joyful and entirely healed, the prince founded Bath around the springs as a token of his gratitude.
In 43 AD, the Romans constructed a grand collection of buildings surrounding the springs which were worshipped by the residing Celts. Forming a temple dedicated to the Goddess Minerva, they erected a social complex, including a gymnasium, wine bar, massage area and gaming palace. At the heart of these social houses sat the Roman thermal waters.
Reviving the ancient practise of social bathing, The Gainsborough Bath Spa offers a one hour 'Bath Circuit' for guests who book any spa treatment at Spa Village Bath. A ritualised tour of the thermal baths, saunas, steam room, ice chamber and elegant relaxation rooms, visitors will embark on a bathing journey reminiscent of ancient Rome.

WHAT ELECTRIC ADAPTER SHOULD I BRING?
You will need to consider what to pack, to ensure you can use your personal electrical appliances safely while you are abroad. This normally includes the use of a travel adapter, which is a device that simply allows you to plug any US electrical appliance into a foreign electrical socket. It is important to note that it does not convert the voltage or frequency.
Plug adapters are the interfaces between the American flat-pronged plug and European two round-prong socket. These allow you to plug your electrical device into the wall socket, but they do not convert the electricity to the American 110 volts. If your appliance is designed to run only on 110-120 volts, you are likely to see smoke, if not fire, from this potent miss-mating. You will need a step-down voltage converter to safely step the voltage down from 230 to 110.
BUY A POWER PLUG/TRAVEL ADAPTER
Amazon has an great selection of adapters. We don’t sell directly, just want to make sure you have the right one for your travels!
Is it customary to tip in the UK?
While tipping in the UK (England) is not as ingrained as it is in some other countries, it is generally appreciated and quite common in many situations, particularly in the service industry.
Restaurants/Pubs/Bars
At restaurants, for instance, it is customary to leave a tip of around 10-15% of the bill if you're pleased with the service. However, always check your bill first to see if a service charge has already been included.
In pubs and bars, tipping is less common, but you might choose to offer to buy the bartender a drink if you're feeling generous.
Taxi/Driver services
For taxi services, many people round up to the nearest pound or tip around 10-15% of the fare.
Guide Services
Yes, you should consider tipping your tour guide if you found their service helpful and informative. As with other service industry roles, a tip serves as a gesture of appreciation for their expertise and effort.
A common guideline is to tip around £10-£20 per person for a full day tour. However, this is entirely at your discretion and should reflect your satisfaction with the service provided.
Remember, it's not mandatory but certainly appreciated by the guides who work hard to make your experience enjoyable.
Can I pay by Zelle?
Yes!
We started taking Zelle payments last month and we found this to be a fast and FREE way to pay!
For those who don’t know what Zelle is… it is very much like a wire transfer (but it is not a wire transfer).
Everyone’s bank is different, though, so you may want to call/go in to your local bank and ask to have the maximum amount available to transfer every day.
Example: Some banks only allow $500/day transfer. Other banks will allow $1200/day.
Always be careful when making payments through Zelle to people that you do not know. There is no protection guarantee provided and you cannot reverse the fee.
The Pros for using Zelle:
It is FREE (no processing fees)!
It is instantaneous (funds will go directly to Zone Travel- so this is the absolute fastest way to make a payment)
The Cons for using Zelle:
Every bank is different when it comes to maximum amount available to be transferred every day. So, this may mean that you need to make multiple payments to Zone Travel, multiple days in a row.
It does require an app download onto your phone, and you need to set up your account with your bank information.
Can I pay by check?
Yes!
If you would like to avoid the 4%processing fees, you may pay by check.
It is very important that you pay in advance of the deadlines and allow ample time for delivery.
Payments received after the deadline could result in cancelation of your reservation or increased fees.
There are two ways to pay by check:
Mail the check
Deposit directly at a local branch

CANCELLATION
Cancellation in writing must be received by Zone Travel 60 days prior to departure for appropriate refund on the land tour cost minus the following fees:
Commissions, fees and Travel insurance are non-refundable.
Zone Travel LLC and its cooperative destination incur unrecoverable charges preparing for your trip therefore, no refunds if cancellations occur less than 60 days before departure. Cancellations more than 60 days prior to departure are based on individual group bookings per the outlined confirmation document you receive.
Furthermore, Zone Travel must adhere to all vendor cancelation policies, which vary by vendor. Some bookings may be immediately non-refundable. For this reason, we highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance.
We sell a variety of travel related products from different suppliers and service providers ("Suppliers"). Each Supplier has its own terms and condition that are applicable to your particular arrangements in addition to our general terms and conditions, and you should make sure you understand them.
Zone Travel is acting as intermediary or a "Booking Agent" for products and services that are not directly supplied by us (e.g., air carriage and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.). We are not a co-vendor of such products and services. You will be entering into a separate contract with such Suppliers in connection with such products and services.
By making payments to Zone Travel for this trip you are agreeing to all Terms and Conditions listed on the Zone Travel website.
Vendor Cancel policy: Each vendor has their own policies, which we have to apply. This information may vary and is listed in full detail on the contract signed for each vendor.
